Abstract: The present program aims to encourage the community of the campus to utilize free software and contribute to disseminate the utilization of free software in the whole community. In this regard, the program will be constituted by courses, lectures and activities oriented to the qualification or enhancement of computer utilization skills using free software. Moreover, we intend to develop appropriate support material for the provided courses/activities.

Target audience: Students, professors and administrative technicians of UFSCar’s Sorocaba Campus, and the community of Sorocaba and its region, which utilize computing as their core or as support activity.

Abstract: The present program aims to encourage the execution of activities, which disseminate to the whole community, the creativity through computing thinking. The study of Computing enables the development of several cognitive abilities – logical-mathematical reasoning, development of communication through languages, overviews and features of numerous concepts, problem solving strategies, among others; abilities, which are not exclusively from the field of Exact or Computing sciences. To reach such objective, workshops, courses, lectures and activities will be provided regarding the immersion of children and adults to the Computing world.

Target audience: Elementary and High schools, miscellaneous businesses, public agencies and the society.

Abstract: The Institutions of Technology’s Science (ICTs) require to work increasingly closer to the real problems of the industry, aiming to sustainably return the knowledge to the society. During the projects of P&ampD&ampI various ideas may become businesses (could they be from ICTs, industry or market entrepreneurs), requiring support (from the ICTs and market partners) to create, train and certificate the entrepreneurs, incubation of startups, search for investment in the market (venture capital, seed money, etc.), partners &amp networking, maturity and transference of technology to the society.

Target audience: Entrepreneurs, Students, Researchers, Professors, Visionaries and the Industry.
